Black Cat Rescue is thrilled to announce that Monkey has been adopted!
Monkey is a petite 3 year old cat who came to Black Cat Rescue from a large animal shelter where she was too terrified to eat or use the litterbox. When it became clear Monkey would not settle in, the shelter reached out to Black Cat Rescue to move her into a foster home where she would be more comfortable. After a few days in hiding in her BCR foster home with Kristen and Andrew, Monkey started to come out of her shell.
This little lady loves to be on somebody’s lap! Shy at first, Monkey is a total cuddlebug. When she’s not warming the couch, she’s a playful explorer who was curious about everything in her foster home. This gentle lady also has quite the voice and would serenade Kristen while she moved about the house.
Michele contacted Black Cat Rescue to find a cat for herself and her family. After a few days, Michele let us know that Monkey had settled in just fine and was loving her new life! Michele’s daughter is “over the moon” in love with Monkey and they sleep together each night.
Monkey is still a bit skittish, but she spends most of her time hanging around the family during the day. “She is truly a special cat! We love her so much already. Thanks again to you and her foster folks for all of your help.”
Congratulations to Monkey and her new forever family!
