Happy Tails: Caili has been adopted!

Black Cat Rescue is very pleased to announce the adoption of Caili!

Caili is a 5 year old cat who came to Black Cat Rescue from a large shelter because she needed a foster home.

Caili is a 5 year old cat who came to Black Cat Rescue from a large shelter because she needed a foster home.

Caili was surrendered to a large shelter because she was too hot for her owners to handle! This feisty lady was full of energy and dying to play, but her owners’ lifestyle didn’t match with such a spirited pet. Without a proper outlet, Caili’s instincts and boundless energy turned into unpredictable and rambunctious behaviors her owners couldn’t keep up with. The large shelter decided Caili would do best in a foster home situation where she can exercise and play as much as she needs to work off her energy in a healthier way– so they contacted BCR!

In foster care, Caili was a total sweetheart. She is definitely a spunky individual with lots of personality, but when she has a constructive place to put that energy she is a delightful companion! Affectionate from the first moment, Caili quickly wormed her way into her foster family’s hearts and attracted a potential adopter almost immediately.

Penny contacted Black Cat Rescue seeking an adult cat that would be friendly with visitors. At 5 years old and with endless curiosity, Caili seemed like a great fit! When Penny arrived at the foster home, Caili came right up to her and they quickly fell in love! Caili went straight home with Penny and we know they will be happy for many years to come.

Congratulations Caili and Penny!
